Fenstermaker completed the Stage 0 Feasibility Study for this roadway rehabilitation project in the City of Denham Springs, Louisiana.

River Road is a two-lane, local roadway within the urbanized area of Denham Springs. Classified as a major collector on the State of Louisiana’s Functional System Map, the roadway was due for infrastructural improvements. Fenstermaker designed the renovations to patch failing pavement areas, overlay the existing asphalt roadway, and widen the roadway to increase the travel lanes to eleven feet in width. Fenstermaker also collected traffic and accident data, performed site reviews to identify failing pavement areas, reviewed surface drainage patterns and cross culverts, and mapped the existing utilities.

Fenstermaker was also responsible for coordinating the project with LA DOTD to comply with state requirements. 100% of the project was performed in Louisiana.
