Fenstermaker worked to see Centerville Street, a two-lane roadway in the urbanized area of Denham Springs, LA, receive pavement preservation from Range Avenue to Hathell Lane. The local road is classified as a major collector on the State of Louisiana’s Functional System Map.

Fenstermaker completed the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) checklist and environmental assessment to design and implement improvements to the roadway. Renovations include patch failing pavement areas, overlaying the existing asphalt roadway, and performing minor roadway widening. Fenstermaker also collected traffic and accident data, performed site reviews to identify failing pavement areas, reviewed surface drainage patterns and cross culverts, and mapped the existing utilities.

Fenstermaker was responsible for coordinating the project with LA DOTD to comply with state requirements. A summary of the services we provided on the Centerville Street project is as follows:
