Paul Guidry Joins the Fenstermaker Team as GIS Manager

Paul Guidry has joined the Fenstermaker team as GIS Manager. Mr. Guidry has 18 years of experience in GIS and 12 years of experience in pipeline. He has worked all over the United States including places such as Texas, Utah, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Wyoming, and Washington. James Fontenot, Director of the Pipeline Division, stated, “Paul comes to us with years of survey and mapping experience with an expertise in ArcGIS. He has been tasked with developing a GIS team for Fenstermaker that will support client needs company wide as well as maintain our survey database.”

Mr. Guidry earned his Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting, specializing in geography in 1999 from SOWELA Technical College in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He has received his Skyline Level 2 certification, ArcGIS Survey Analyst certification, and ArcGIS Geodatabase Data Mode certification.
Skilled in several different software programs such as ArcGIS Desktop, Lighting ArcGIS Alignment Sheet Generator, ArcPad, ERDAS Imagine, Global Mapper, and many more, Mr. Guidry’s “Atchafalaya Basin Pipeline Awareness Seminar” was published in the Department of Natural Resources Newsletter. Raster manipulation, LiDAR data editing and analyzing, GPS data processing, editing and analyzing, soil mapping, pipeline mapping are just a few of his areas of expertise that he will be bringing to Fenstermaker.
