It is with great pleasure and pride that C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, L.L.C. announces the internal promotion of Kathryn Fenstermaker to Corporate Communications Leader. Senior Vice President, R. J. Boutte, reflects, “Kathryn brings her creative vision, talent, energy, experience, and knowledge to this important role. She is ready to lead and we look forward to the many exciting things to come.” In today’s highly competitive, highly communicative workforce, there is no better fit for this position.
Kathryn was welcomed to Fenstermaker in 2016 to work with clients and assist in the development of GIS mapping software. It was a special honor to join C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, as it was her Grandfather who founded the Company in 1950. In this space, she excelled as Business Development Consultant, promoting Fenstermaker’s wide range of multi-disciplinary services by leading many presentations, exhibits and workshops, facilitating interdepartmental communication and adoption of the company’s differentiating technology.
Working in her new capacity, Kathryn is now responsible for branding and marketing, special events coordination, advertising and public relations for the firm. Her leadership abilities, recently enhanced by her graduation from Leadership Lafayette, will be instrumental, as she works closely with Human Resources, Business Development, and the Production Groups in order to develop strategies for effective internal and external communications. Skilled management of corporate marketing and public relations are vital for the advancement of the company’s strategic goals.
By way of background, Kathryn is a graduate of Millsaps College, whose intense curriculum and writing focus led her to a flexibility of mind and knack for narrative. This liberal arts experience allowed Kathryn to hone her written communications skills and achieve a Bachelor of Arts in French. She’ll tell you it was at Millsaps that she “learned how to learn.” Following graduation, Kathryn sought her teaching certification from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and subsequently taught French for three years in the Lafayette Parish Public School System.
Kathryn’s passion for education and youth mentorship is now expressed through her involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana and her pursuit of STEAM Lafayette. Ever chasing avenues of positive impact for her community and her workplace, Kathryn strives to enrich the lives of those around her. Her collection of experiences yields a unique perspective and skillset with which Kathryn now assumes this leadership role within Fenstermaker, where she can explore and rise to her fullest potential.
