Justin Bordelon Promoted to Advanced Technology Manager

Justin Bordelon has been promoted to Advanced Technology Manager for Fenstermaker. Mr. Bordelon has over 12 years of experience in surveying and technology services. He has worked on numerous projects performing underwater acoustic investigations and hydrographic surveys, along with many bridge inspections. Mr. Bordelon’s previous supervisor, David Campbell, Survey Field Operation Leader, stated, “Though I am sad to see Justin leave the Survey Field Department, I am confident that he is going to bring a fresh outlook to our HDS department. Justin is bringing a substantial level of expertise and technical ability that will not only guarantee him success but guarantee success for the department as well.”

Mr. Bordelon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2009. In 2004, he was deployed in the Louisiana National Guard and served as a Squad Leader in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Staff Sergeant in 3rd Battalion of the 156th Infantry Regiment. Mr. Bordelon earned a bronze star for these efforts.

In 2015, Mr. Bordelon became the manager of the Underwater Acoustic Investigation group at Fenstermaker and managed several crews throughout Louisiana and Texas. He has also achieved the National Highway Institute for Underwater Bridge Inspections certification, along with a Traffic Control certification. His areas of expertise are in hydrographic surveying, underwater acoustic investigation surveys, and underwater bridge and dam inspections.
