Fenstermaker’s Engineering Team is proud to partner with the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury on the extension of the Coach Williams Drive. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on August 16, 2018.
The two-year $18.4 million project will extend Coach Williams Drive to Houston River Road in Sulphur, Louisiana. A new roundabout at the intersection of Coach Williams Drive and Old Spanish Trail is also on the list of improvements.
“This is an exciting project that has been a long time coming and that I have been involved in every step of the way. We have hit a lot of roadblocks along the way that we could not avoid, but through hard work and collaboration, we have been able to persevere and finally break ground on a project that has great benefits for the citizens of this parish,” said Hal McMillin, District 14 Police Juror. “This is not just a project for general transportation needs, but it also has real positive impacts to the quality of life of our citizens and is a great way to better connect the people that we serve in Calcasieu Parish.”
Moving into construction, the following Fenstermaker employees will be involved in this project: Project Manager, Jeanne Hornsby, P.E., Deputy Project Manager, Anna Doucet, E.I., Butch Babineaux, P.E., Glenn McCall, P.E., Matthew Strickland, P.E., Cheyenne Stelly, P.E., James Siffert, and Ken Dugas.
