Fenstermaker’s Engineering Team was recently recognized by Lafayette Habitat for Humanities (LHFH) as the recipient of the 2018 Breakout Volunteer Group for outstanding contributions to the community. The group was honored on Wednesday, June 6th at a special Volunteer Appreciation Awards Reception held at the UL Alumni House Board Room on the University of Louisiana campus in Lafayette, LA. Shown in the picture to the right is Engineering Team Member Anna Doucet and Fenstermaker President Alex Lincoln.
Lafayette Habitat for Humanities Communications and Community Outreach Director Lindy LeBlanc contacted Fenstermaker about the award saying, “Lafayette Habitat for Humanity is so appreciative of Fenstermaker and the dedication of its employees to their volunteer work with us! We have chosen to award Fenstermaker as the recipient of our 2018 Breakout Volunteer Group Award for the impact that its employees made toward our mission to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live…”
At the Volunteer Appreciation event, LHFH Executive Director Melinda Taylor welcomed everyone and Lindy LeBlanc joined her to present the awards. Also receiving recognition was Cox Communications who was recognized as Outstanding Group for 2018. IBERIA BANK, UL Lafayette Americorps and the UL Lafayette Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter each received the 2018 Outstanding Service Award.
