Dr. John D. Foret, PhD., Receives Coastal Stewardship Award

It is with great pleasure that we announce Dr. John D. Foret, PhD., Fenstermaker’s Vice President of Environmental, as a recipient of the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana’s 2023 Coastal Stewardship Awards.

Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 with a “primary vision to unite people in action to achieve a thriving, sustainable Louisiana coast for all.” CRCL strategically supports initiatives for the long-term health of Louisiana’s rich and diverse coastal wetlands through community connection, thought leadership, policy advocacy, and partnerships. Each year, CRCL honors a select few who demonstrate an action-driven passion for preservation—leaders of the movement to save our coast.

Receiving this award is an acknowledgement of Dr. Foret’s many years of service and contribution. The award recognizes John as he has assisted in the development of effective management strategies for the restoration and protection of Louisiana’s coast—a natural state treasure and vital component of community, industry, and wildlife.
