Diane Hammonds, P.E., PTOE has joined Fenstermaker’s Baton Rouge office as Senior Engineer. She is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 17 years of experience, specializing in Traffic/Transportation Engineering and Planning. Diane has worked on various projects with an emphasis on traffic impact assessments, traffic signal designs, traffic signal system designs, traffic simulations modeling, access management reviews, safety studies, roundabout analysis and design as well as permit reviews and coordinations.

As a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, she has experience in areas such as project management, corridor analyses, traffic safety, signal design and operations, and traffic impact studies.”
Diane is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the Louisiana chapter of ACEC, treasurer of Women’s Transportation Seminar (Louisiana Section), and past President of the Gulf Region ITS (GRITS). She is a recipient of the 2015 and 2011 W. Hibbett Neel Award in recognition of outstanding service in Deep South Section of the ITE. Additionally, Diane received the 2015 True GRIT Award for her contributions to GRITS and the 2016 Presidents Award from the Women’s Transportation Seminar. Diane is a licensed P.E. in the states of Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. She earned her Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) in 2016.
