Fenstermaker welcomes Bill Katzenmeyer, P.E., to the family, making our New Orleans location his new home. Bill’s roots are now firmly planted in the Big Easy after extensively spending time traveling the US and abroad. He brings a wealth of civil engineering experience with him, including the design of municipal roadway and drainage projects, stormwater pumping station construction and rehabilitation, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for site developments and HMGP projects, to name a few.
Vice President of Engineering Raymond Reaux, P.E., stated, “I am excited to announce the addition of William “Bill” Katzenmeyer to our Water Resources Team. His career began with the US Army Corps of Engineers at the Vicksburg Waterways Experiment Station and now, with two decades of experience, is considered a Water Resources thought leader. Bill brings innovative and diverse technical experience in computation numerical modeling to our Team. I am excited Bill has chosen to join the growing C.H. Fenstermaker team!”
Beyond his new position within the Water Resources Team, Bill also has a strong passion for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. He is heavily involved with bicycle advocacy efforts within the City of New Orleans. He helped champion the Baronne Street Bike Lane, Lafitte Greenway, and other significant bicycle infrastructure improvements through direct organizing, social group rides, and running social media campaigns on behalf of Bike Easy.
