Travis Bodin, PLS, PMP is the Vice President of Survey & Mapping at Fenstermaker, bringing surveying and management experience to our firm since 2004. With a tremendous capacity for strategic analysis and planning, project management and team building, Mr. Bodin’s main responsibilities include effectively managing operations, resources, and talent. He focuses his energies on internal team development, the strengthening of client relationships, and the creation of financial and operational efficiency. Mr. Bodin exhibits a wholehearted commitment to the advancement of team members. Truly living our core values with an emphasis on growth mindset, he displays an eagerness to mentor those within our organization. Steadfast in his effort to recruit the right people, Mr. Bodin continuously seeks new talent to compliment the Survey Division and its progress.
Prior to his executive position within Fenstermaker’s Survey Division, Mr. Bodin served as the Survey Office Operations Leader, where he managed daily operations for all Survey office locations. Additionally, he has worked with the company’s Engineering design team where he specialized in the production of subdivision plats, topographic plats, roadway plans, right of way plats, servitude plats, and legal descriptions. He has a wealth of experience in managing surveying operations, notifying landowners, developing horizontal and vertical control, coding topography and utilities with depths, field rolls, digital terrain models, checking field books, and the submittal of survey data. All of this previous experience contributes to his success as Vice President of Survey & Mapping.

Mr. Bodin has been happily married since 2006 to Michelle G. Bodin and they have twin daugthers: Avery and Brooklyn. Mr. Bodin, is originally from New Iberia and is a graduate of New Iberia Senior High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
