Jeanne Arceneaux Hornsby, M.S., P.E., CFM is an Engineering Director that obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2005, her Masters of Science in 2007, her Professional Engineer License in 2011, and her Certified Floodplan Manager designation in 2019. She brings experience in engineering and project management. Mrs. Hornsby has focused her technical career in the field of water resources specializing in hydraulic modeling (inland and coastal) and floodplain mapping and management. She has further advanced her career into program and project management where she has successfully managed multi-million dollar projects for both the public and private sectors ranging from roadway design and construction, stormwater management and planning, as well as petrochemical capital improvement projects. Mrs. Hornsby’s advanced technical background and customer service skills are instrumental in the completion of diverse projects that meet her client satisfaction. Mrs. Hornsby has also served as City Engineer for Scott, Louisiana since 2012.
Ms. Hornsby is a graduate of the Class of 2018 Emerging Leaders Institute hosted by ACEC of Louisiana and AIA Louisiana. The program offers leadership and career development for individuals committed to developing their profession and personal leadership abilities.

Mrs. Hornsby has been happily married since 2012 to Chad Hornsby and they have two children, Hayden and Rhett. With two small children, Mrs. Hornsby has very little free time, but when she does find the time she enjoys traveling, fishing, and refinishing old furniture.
