Butch Babineaux Elected to ACECL Board of Governors

We’re offering big congratulations to Butch Babineaux, P.E., who was recently elected to the American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana (ACECL) Board of Governors serving as the Lake Charles Chapter President. The primary mission of ACECL is to strengthen the business environment for its Louisiana member firms through government advocacy, political action and business education. Butch was instrumental in forming the recently established Lake Charles Chapter, which joins the other Chapters in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Shreveport in serving as the voice of Louisiana engineering companies throughout the state.

Butch has over 35 years of experience and is a registered professional engineer in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. In addition to ACECL, he has been a member and actively involved in several professional and community associations including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), Southwest Louisiana Chamber, Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance (LCIA), McNeese State University Industrial Advisory Board, and various advocacy, charity and volunteer organizations.
