Fenstermaker’s Engineering group is busy with an important project designed to positively impact the City of Scott. A groundbreaking ceremony was held September 11, 2018 to celebrate the Apollo Road Extension project. The event, held in front of the new West Regional Public Library, currently under construction, was a celebration of the City’s commitment to the residents of the area and the economic future of the community.
The project will include 2.2 miles of roadway with a roundabout incorporated to facilitate traffic safety and flow. The roadway is designed to included a four lane boulevard with curbs and sidewalks for pedestrian access. The official kick off of the Apollo Road extension begins a series of activity leading to commercial and residential development expected to be a tremendous economic boost to the Scott community.
