Fenstermaker prepared a NEPA Environmental Assessment and Line & Grade Study for the proposed widening of LA 311 between Savanne Road and LA 664 on this Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) project. The project was designed to turn this stretch of road from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway in accordance with NEPA criteria.
Fenstermaker was responsible for coordinating a total of three sub-consultants, performing all the NEPA environmental components of the study, developing a line and grade study, coordinating and managing all public involvement activities, performing traffic and socioeconomic impact analyses, developing relocation plans, and various other tasks required by the NEPA process.
