  • Fenstermaker’s US 90 (I-49 South) Design-Build project is named the 2019 American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana (ACEC-L) Engineering Excellence Awards Grand Award Category Winner for Category H: Transportation. The project also won the People’s Choice Award.

  • Fenstermaker’s SASOL Heavy Haul Road project is named the 2019 American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana (ACEC-L) Engineering Excellence Awards Grand Award Category Winner for Category L: Industrial & Manufacturing Processes & Facilities.

  • Fenstermaker receives the 2018 Louisiana Transportation Excellence Award for work on the Sasol North America Lake Charles Chemical Complex Project Heavy Haul Road. Awarded in two categories: Use of Innovative Product for Technology and Roadway/Bridge Construction > 10 million.

  • Fenstermaker’s Engineering Team receives 2017 Excellence in Construction Award for Heavy Construction at the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Awards Gala.

  • Bill Fenstermaker, CEO, is selected to serve as President of the UL Foundation, a non-profit of the University of Louisiana (UL).

  • Bill Fenstermaker, CEO, is appointed by Governor Bobby Jindal to serve on the Louisiana Board of Regents, a state agency that coordinates all public higher education in Louisiana.

  • Fenstermaker earns a spot on Engineering News-Record’s prestigious list of the Top 500 Design Firms at #299.

  • Kam Movassaghi, President, wins the Francis Turner Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for advancing transportation engineering as an educator with the University of Louisiana, as a public servant leading the Louisiana Department of Transportation, as a business consultant with Fenstermaker, and as a volunteer with ASCE and Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI).

  • Kam Movassaghi, President, is inducted as an ASCE Fellow by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) to recognize his commitment and leadership in solving contemporary transportation issues throughout his distinguished career in Civil Engineering.

  • Dr. Ehab Meselhe, a Coastal Engineering Expert Consultant to Fenstermaker, is recognized by the Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI) for contributing to the Best Hydrologic Engineering Paper of the Year, entitled “Sensitivity of Conceptual and Physically Based Hydrologic Models to Temporal and Spatial Rainfall Sampling.”

  • Kam Movassaghi, President, is chosen by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) for his engineering expertise and familiarity with Louisiana transportation to lead the Report Card for Louisiana’s Infrastructure as the project’s Executive Director.
